Growing up in Phoenix, Arizona, I moved back to my childhood home to attend university and play hockey in Winnipeg, Canada. Following my university degree I spent time as a missionary in Europe and Asia. I currently split time between Winnipeg and Phoenix, traveling often for destination weddings.
This past autumn I married my husband Alexander in the midst of the pandemic (that’s me in the merlot colour), replanning the wedding in just seven days given the new restrictions. I have a heart for our industry and especially my couples in the trenches of this global pandemic. I whole heartedly believe there are beautiful love stories to be told, no matter the size or location of the events.
My approach to photography stems from my years spent living in Phoenix, where those desert tones seeped right into my heart and art. Combining my love of portraiture with the raw and fast pace of weddings, I create timeless images on my favourite medium format film camera.
When I’m not shooting weddings, I am shooting commercial projects like the national best selling Jenna Rae Cakes cookbook or conferences such as TEDTalks in Vancouver and Palm Springs.
2021 + 2022 are looking exciting with unique weddings + (hopefully) travel, please inquire about availability. Current whereabouts are updated on my Instagram.
